They say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well, I say the way to a woman’s heart is wooing your way in through her feet. So here’s a lovely idea for a Valentines Day gift that keeps on giving.

There has been a great emergence of animal-friendly and eco-friendly fashion products in the market place. Being in the footwear business, I experience the difficulties in trying to source out stylish, animal friendly footwear on a day to day basis.

During my hunt, I came across a vegan footwear line that actress Natalie Portman collaborated on with Te Casan. The collection is fashionable while still maintaining high quality standards with an exceptional design aesthetic. It is a limited addition collection that is playful and elegant and all of Portman’s proceeds will be donated to the Nature Conservancy, a non profit that works to protect ecologically fragile lands and bodies of water.
