It’s a throw back to the 70’s and it’s about time. After seasons of “how low can you go” hip jeans and baring mid-driffs, this is a refreshing twist to the waist line.

This silhouette is not practical for everybody and when shopping for high waisted jeans, don’t get trapped into the wrong fit and style. High waisted denims are available with skinny legs and flares, however my personal favorite is a wide leg with a cuff, it just looks classy.

Another tip, make sure the back pockets sit in the right place, or else you’ll look like you have a really long bottom! With the proper fit, high waisted jeans can flatten your stomach and lengthen your legs (this season, I suggest a pair of gladiator platform wedges or covered platform shoes) - This will give your legs some extra length.
