Wireless Bluetooth headsets remind me of early mobile phones. Most were poorly designed, esthetically unpleasing to the eye, chunky and robo-cop-ish. This made it very difficult for people to give it a chance.

However, as the ban of the use of cellphones in cars without a headset or other hands-free systems escalate, more people will likely embrace Bluetooth.

I found a fairly well designed piece and I think it deserves some attention. The sleek, $130 USD Aliph Jawbone features top sound quality, though I’ve read its controls are slightly confusing.

It fit’s nice in the ear and it doesn’t look half bad. Available in 3 colors: Gold, Black and Silver.
