For it’s next designer collaboration, H&M is sizing it up and going avant-garde, teaming up with Japanese fashion visionary Rei Kawakubo.
This one time Comme des Garcons collection is slated to launch in November as the Swedish based mass retailer opens it’s first ever retail outlet in Japan. It’s a 10,0000 sq ft location in Tokyo’s Ginza district and a 16,000 sq ft location in the trendy Harajuku district.
Kawakubo is known for her fearless and experimental take on fashion. I am really looking forward to see how the collection translates on the floor.
