STAY:
The Hotel Therese is perfectly located in Paris’s elegant Right Bank: the Louvre, rue St Honore and the Opera are close by. It’s a classic yet contemporary hotel with small rooms, however with a lot of character. They still use old fashion iron keys for their doors and I had room 306 with French windows that opened up to a serene garden.
EAT:
So many places to eat in Paris! They have more cafes and restaurants on every street, than we do Starbucks on every corner! If you’re looking for a hip crowd or just in the mood to people watch, I suggest dining at the Hotel Costes. The rooms are furnished with regal, red velvet arm chairs and you dine by tall candle lights. Later at night, it turns into a bar setting where trendy jet setters make their appearances.
SHOP:
My boyfriend and I went crazy over the Muji store located on Saint-Sulpice. Muji’s radical concept of “no branded goods” quickly gained popularity even amongst the brand connoisseurs. The irony of it all is that they have become an internationally appreciated brand around the world. Their products are simple, extremely affordable and functional, making this Japanese based lifestyle store a hit with many! We walked away with some stationary, some essential beauty tools, generic containers and a functional knapsack.
