La Quercia means “The Oak Tree” in Italian - Strong, steady and rooted. This tiny Westside restaurant was a gem to find and equipped with top notch owners Lucas Syme and Adam Pegg, both former Parkside and La Buca employees.
You may drive right by it because it’s a small 35 seater. La Quercia offers a casual seating, cozy, great for small parties as well as first dates. I thought the service was professional and the food was exceptional!
They focus on mouth watering traditional Italian food - Completely uncomplicated yet every bite you take feels like a bite of heaven. Most ingredients are sourced local and organic wherever possible and they have plenty of feature dishes along side their set menu.
Here’s the line up: Eggplant Sformato with Prawns as the first, Tagliolini alla Bolognese as the second and Veal Agnolotti as the main.
