Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert was one book I could not put down this summer. They way she celebrated her pursuit of worldly pleasures, spiritual devotion and what she really wanted out of life was simultaneously gut wrenching and inspiring.

What I loved most about her writing was how she brought her character to life in the book: She was irresistibly candid, awkward but comfortable to connect with.

The book has been adopted for the silver screen and who else would be perfect for the roll? The leading lady herself, Julia Roberts will be taking on the challenge!
