He coined the term “fierce” and was one of the main reasons why I tuned into “Project Runway” every week. Affordable footwear retailer Payless ShoeSource expands its growing list of designer collaborations with fashion designer Christian Siriano.

Winning season four of Project Runway has place Siriano on the fashion map and now he has partnered with Payless to create his first footwear and handbag collection—the Christian Siriano for Payless designer label.

The collection is slated to launch for FALL 09 and is expected to range in price from $25 to $45 USD and will be shown in conjunction with Siriano’s runway show at New York Fashion Week in February 2009.
