Yes I can call myself the queen of ramen bowls. I love them. They are tasty, affordable, and always comforting. There is nothing better then a large bowl of steamy hot ramen noodles on a cold day.

One of my regular spots is a place called Benkei Noodle Shop. This cozy forty seater has a real authentic Japanese feel with wooden beams, paper walls, bamboo decor and wooden cube stools.

I always start with an order of their delicious sticky rice wrapped in seaweed called “Chashu Onigiri”. I follow up with noodles in the Shio soup base and I add kimchi for added flavor. The servings are large and you leave completely satisfied for about $7.00 CDN a bowl.
