I always carry a notebook with me (although I do have a trusty Blackberry I still like the traditional pencil and paper method to things).

I have one small gripe with the whole notebook and pen thing. I usually have no way of holding on to my pens and pencils. The caps usually get lost in the shuffle from my pens and traditional pencils have no clips. I despise placing my writing instrument between the pages of my notebook as it does not allow my it to lay flat when I try to close it. Oh the dilemmas I have.

I found a simple and clever little device that solves all my problems called the ‘Pen Clip’ by Vessel. It comes in two sizes and two types of finishes. You simply clip to the exterior edge of your notebook and your pencil and/or pen slides in securely.
