I particularly enjoyed the 2009 Oscars because of the “intimacy” factor.

The stage was small, the audience was drawn in close and the way they congratulated and praised all the nominees was classy, meaningful and endearing.

But of course, I also loved the Oscars for the wonderful display of gowns. Some of my tops picks were worn by: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Winslet, Natalie Portman, Rachel Wood and Anne Hathaway.
