I am still not sure what to think of this revival, but what I know for sure is that it brings back many memories.

A pair of Doc Martens remind me of the dirty grunge era. I remember rocking my pair of Doc’s with chunky work socks, a floral peasant dress, and topped off with an acid wash denim jacket.

With the “Rock n Roll” look coming back in full force, the Doc Marten is creeping it’s way back into the fashion scene. Today, styled a little differently and with a more feminine edge.

Pictured here is an example of one of the ad campaigns for Doc Martens. If styled just right, I think perhaps a revival could be justified.
