Progressing from the gladiator look of Spring/Summer 2008, the “Bird Cage” shoe is taking over as this seasons hot shoe!

It could take some getting use to since your entire foot is “caged” in yet very exposed. You’ll see the look translated in many different ways from haute couture to ready to wear.

It was the staple shoe in the YSL runway this year and Top Shop has their own take on the look for a recessionista price of $145 USD.

This is the one and only time I wouldn’t mind being caged in.
