“Fashion is a religion. This is the bible” - VOGUE.

“The September Issue” launching this September 11th, 2009 is an intimate and shocking look at Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine for two decades, and her team as they create the “bible” of fashion. Anyone who is in the fashion business knows that the September issue is the most prominent issue of the year, most of the time dictating the success of trends, designers and models.

Filmmaker R.J. Cutler explores the inner world of Vogue  behind the scenes at Fashion Week, trips to Europe, photoshoots and behind the scene meetings. Thakoon Panichgul has a particularly prominent role, and there are appearances by Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Phillip Lim among others.

I am looking forward to the release as I am interested in the hectic yet seamless dealings behind the making of the fashion bible, Vogue September issue.
