Get Your Apron Dirty

I attended the Dirty Apron Cooking School open house this past weekend and immediately fell in love with the space. As a person who is pretty useless in the kitchen, it made me want to learn!

Brought to you by the people who brought you Chambar and Cafe Medina, the Dirty Apron Cooking School is the new place for foodies, novices and aspiring chefs to learn some tricks of the trade.

Karri and Nico Schuerman and former Chambar sous-Chef David Roberstson have created a space for ease of learning and a place for a community to come together and socialize.

You can register for hands on or demonstration classes depending on your mood. There is also a picnic style table dining area for you to taste your creations after each session.

For a limited time, all bookings for 4 hour hands-on classes taking place during the first 4 weeks of opening (August 12 until September 9, 2009) will receive a FREE $50 gift card, and 2 hour demonstration classes booked during that time will receive a FREE $30 gift card.

All this talk is already making me hungry. Book you classes today and get your apron dirty.
