 The Palazzo Hotel Resort is the newer addition to the Venetian on the Las Vegas strip. Like it’s counterpart, each room is a suite (pretty much the size of a Vancouver apartment). It’s luxuriously comfortable with sunken in living rooms designed with a modern European edge. The kicker for me was the electric curtain and blind opener.

EAT:

Bam! - Is all I have to say. As a seafood lover, I was super excited to try Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel Resort. They serve up scallops from Mane, pike from the Midwest, and chicken fro Alabama. For dessert, the ‘banana cream pie’ is a favourite and a must. Trust me when I say it’s worth dying for.

SHOP:

Head over to the Fashion Show Mall where you can shop and watch runway shows every weekend  on the hour from 12 pm to 6 pm. They have every department store imaginable from Saks Fifth Ave to Macy’s to Nordstrom and Dillards.
