I had the opportunity to attend ‘Sweet Talk’, a Women In Leadership style event with guest speakers, Gina Hole founder of THEY Representation Inc,  Sonia Leal-Serafim make-up artist and Leila Bani fashion stylist.

It was an evening of wine, tasty chocolate treats and helpful tips on style and make-up. Bani mentioned how she’s never one to follow the trends too closely, but it’s more about finding great shapes to suit your body type. Leal-Serafim had a list of great make-up tips including: Using baking soda to exfoliate your face and using an angle brush and black eye shadow to create softer lines. The best tip of the evening, “good blending means you do not know where the make-up starts or ends”.
