Shop For Good Causes

Do you ever feel guilty for shopping? Let me help you wipe that guilt off your face and your credit cards. Philanthropy by the Latest Scoop is a unique concept store dedicated to giving back to the local community. Located in Kitsilano, Philanthropy sells donated, quality unused items and 80% of the gross profits go back to BC charities.

Gross profits will be shared equally between two great charities in Vancouver. The Arts Umbrella, who provide visual and performing arts education to Metro Vancouver children and youth regardless of their financing circumstances. As well as the Canucks for Kids Fund, whom commits time, resources and grants to qualify BC charities benefiting children, youth and families by focusing on health and wellness, social development, education, awareness and grassroots hockey.

Philanthropy is open to the public June 2, Wednesday 2010 and only open for a limited amount of time. Wipe that shopping guilt away and shop for a cause. At least you know your money is going to do some good. They get refreshed with stock all the time, which gives you more reason to visit more than once.
