What I love most about the Big Apple, you can never get tired of it and every time I go back, I discouver something new.
STAY: I attended an event at the Aspen Social Club at the Stay Hotel and immediately fell in love with the modern-lodge feeling of the space. It is conveniently located in Mid-Town and you are walking distance from Times Square, Central Park and Rockefeller Centre. Not to mention you are also surrounded by world class shopping at Madison and Fifth Avenue.

EAT: While in NYC I love noshing at restaurants the locals go to and I tend to enjoy smaller and quint settings. If you want some good hardy Italian food at incredibly reasonable prices, head over to Bianca’s in the East Village. They offer a warm, cozy atmosphere, candlelit wood tables and an all Italian wine list. My recommendations off the menu: Carciofi Fritti $8.00 (fried baby artichokes with crispy parsley), Tagliatelle alla Bolognese $9.50 and Straccetti di Manzo $15.00 (pan-seared thin slice of filet mignon with rosemary). They do not take reservations and are cash only.
5 Bleecker Street (near Bowery), 212.260.4666
SHOP: My new favorite store in NYC is All Saints located in Soho on Broadway (near Bloomingdales). With stores popping up across the USA, the UK as well as Europe, I guarantee you’ll be hearing more about them. They offer a modern motor-esque feel in their apparel that exudes cool and comfortability. Their collections are available for both men and women as well as children. Don’t fret if you are unable to get to one of their stores, you are able to shop online and yes they ship to Canada.
