The emperor of sexy footwear, Christian Louboutin has launched his first book. This book chronicles Louboutin’s world of shoe designing as he talks about some of his favourite designs and about what influences his work.

The self titled book starts by telling his tale of how he started his career with couture houses like Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. The book also showcases photos of his various international retail stores and all his major designs over the past 20 years. Apparently in one of the chapters we also get to a sneak peek at the designer’s homes in Egypt and Paris!

Barney’s recently had a book signing event with the man himself and you can purchase it for $150 at the store or on-line. I can’t wait to see this book for myself.
