Nothing screams summer more than the color white. Crisp white shorts and dresses, white linen bed sheets, white outdoor canopies…white white white. It can be sophisticated, slimming and lady like. Designers such as Thakoon, Alexander Wang, Chanel, Jill Sander, Phillip Lim and Derek Lam sent all white looks down the runway for NYFW.

I don’t typically like white shoes but my heart stopped when I saw these  {Alexander Wang} Joan Heels.

Keep in mind, white would be difficult to keep clean. So be mindful with your cross body handbags against darker clothes. I love how this {Malene Birger} bag is contrasted.

Steer away from your typical tortoise and black framed sunnies. These {Rebecca Minkoff} Beford sunnies are sweet in white.

Get white washed this summer and try this monochromatic look. You’ll stand out in the crowd but in a good way.
