Job Summary:
Sterling Shoes has an exciting opportunity in the role of Buying Support for the Shoe Warehouse and Sterling buying teams. This is a fulltime permanent role that will be responsible for supporting the Shoe Warehouse and Sterling Senior Buying teams and aiding the buyers in all of the administrative duties in connection with purchase of merchandise.

Core Accountabilities:
- Manages product replenishment and returns to vendors
- Effectively liaise with vendors, suppliers, District Supervisors and Store Managers
- Assists with the timely delivery of products by category and subcategory
- Assist in product related questions from the store level
- Maintain and updates product boards
- Manages Purchase Order process
- Ordering office supplies for Buying team
-Delivery Stats
- Payments: liaise with Accounting team
- General Buying office clean up and organization
- Opening up boxes and confirming samples from time to time
- Other duties as assigned

Academic/Educational Requirements:
- 1-2 years office administration experience
- High School completion

Required Skills/Experience:
- 1+ years of office administration experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc)
- Must have high organization and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task
- Experience in fashion retail is an asset
- A keen interest in fashion retail buying is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated team player

The one piece of clothing you can most definitely carry over from summer to fall this year is the maxi dress. I would stay away from anything that has a floral print and stick with solids and basic colors.

You can’t go wrong with a heather gray racer-back maxi dress like this one from “Nasty Gal”. It has a flattering low scoop neckline with a pocket detail on the bust. The rayon and spandex blend makes it nice and slinky.

Just came across this new local company, mobile dry-cleaning by Dressed In Blue - a service where they come to your office or home to pick up your dry-cleaning, and within 2 days, return it right back to you. You don’t have to be there when they pick it up, just leave any detailed instructions with your bag of clothes.

There is no fee for the pick up/delivery as long as you meet a minimum service of $15.00. Prices are at par with regular dry-cleaning services - a basic shirt launder costs $3.25, a pair of pants $8.45 and a 2 piece suit is $18.95. You pay for service after you receive the clothes back with any major credit card.

In my day, the last thing I want to do is bother with dropping off and picking up my clothes and I was impressed with this business.
