I am wearing either one or the other around my neck and sometimes both at the same time.

The "Ave" necklace ($86) is a lustre of textured vermeil circle pendants that hang delicately from a 23" gold fill chain. I liked this one so much I also bought it in sterling silver ($82). What I love about this piece is that it works so nicely with a dress blouse as well as with my basic v-neck tee-shirt. The length of the necklace sits just perfectly across my collarbone.

This Canadian group-buying website offers daily deals on restaurant meals, beauty products and treatments, fitness and sporting events and much more. Everyday there is a different deal and they are limited so you must get to them fast!

It's very simple, just sign up, buy your deal and once the deal is over you will be emailed your voucher to claim your purchase. Recently, I paid only $67 for a Luxurious Swedish Massage at the Vida Wellness Spa which normally costs $135.

What are you waiting for? Go to www.teambuy.ca and start saving!

The one piece of clothing you can most definitely carry over from summer to fall this year is the maxi dress. I would stay away from anything that has a floral print and stick with solids and basic colors.

You can't go wrong with a heather gray racer-back maxi dress like this one from "Nasty Gal". It has a flattering low scoop neckline with a pocket detail on the bust. The rayon and spandex blend makes it nice and slinky.

How I would wear it? I would cinch up the waist with a cognac colored braided leather belt, paired with matching cork or wood wedges.

www.shopnastygal.com, $58.00 USD

Just came across this new local company, mobile dry-cleaning by Dressed In Blue - a service where they come to your office or home to pick up your dry-cleaning, and within 2 days, return it right back to you. You don't have to be there when they pick it up, just leave any detailed instructions with your bag of clothes.

There is no fee for the pick up/delivery as long as you meet a minimum service of $15.00. Prices are at par with regular dry-cleaning services - a basic shirt launder costs $3.25, a pair of pants $8.45 and a 2 piece suit is $18.95. You pay for service after you receive the clothes back with any major credit card.

In my day, the last thing I want to do ... more ...

In my day, the last thing I want to do is bother with dropping off and picking up my clothes and I was impressed with this business. They are offering 10% off your first service with them - just note “Fabulous” as your refer source when submitting your order. Service is available to Downtown addresses with some special exceptions.

To get your clothes dry-cleaned, sign up with the address you’d like your pick-up from on http://www.dressedinblue.com/form.html and they will call to confirm your pick up time, or call 604-683-2583.
