I recently switched to an iPhone and have been on the hunt for a unique cover to protect the new toy. I am not a fan of glossy covers, or bright colors and I sure didn’t want some swirly pattern on it either.
As I casted my eyes along the Apple store wall, I came across the Griffin+Chilewich collection and immediately fell in love. Designer Sandy Chilewich collaborated with Griffin Technology to develop a trademarked basketweave woven textile cover for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. It reminds me so much of linen and the play with texture gives it a luxurious feel. Together, they have seamlessly married function and design.
It’s available exclusively at the Griffin website, the Apple store and the MoMA Design Store. $44.95 CDN ($39.99 USD).

Androgyny is once again recycling through the fashion world this season, appearing in footwear, apparel and even accessories. Along with stealing your boyfriend’s jeans and button shirts, it’s time to take his wrist watches for a spin around the block.
The over-sized chunky wrist watch is a new kind of fashion statement. Best worn slightly loose so it fits like a bangle and mostly adorned in a gold or silver metal.
I was fortunate enough to hit a sale at the Michael Kors store in Las Vegas and picked up a gold version with a stark black face.
I’m sure my boyfriend will be happy, knowing that I won’t be borrowing his watches anymore.

For bad hair days and to shade your eyes from the sun, brimmed hats are the perfect solution. It took me a while to find the most fitting hat for the occasion and I finally did at Urban Outfitters.
I fell in love with the asymmetrical shape which is a combination of fedora meets cloche. The dip of the brim just slightly covers one eye giving you enough sex appeal.
Comes in 2 colors, beige and gray and wrapped neatly with a wide grosgrain bow.
$34 USD at your nearest Urban Outfitters.

Head bands have been hot in the market place for some time now and this over-sized flower band just makes me giddy.
Practically like a hat, the flower band is an absolute head tuner. Pale pink flowers are embedded into 3 large black petals, made of silk and settled on a thin band.
It’s one size fits all and designed to wear on the front of the head. Look forward to some really good hair days with this head band!
