On my Palm Springs holiday I spent 6 hours at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. I found some major deals but I think my best find was my leather saddle hobo from Cole Haan. Everything in the store was 50% off, how could I pass up on the deal?
Although not a brand that is spoken about often, Cole Haan has been producing top quality leather footwear and handbags since 1928, starting out in men’s footwear and later introducing ladies in 1979. On top of using quality materials, Cole Haan produces and handles with care.
So the next time you go shopping, don’t let the brand sway your purchase, let the materials do the talking. You can find Cole Haan locally at Holt Renfrew and Freedman Shoes.

It’s about the only way I would ever wear fringe and this necklace by ‘A Farmer’s Daughter’ does the trick. I first laid eyes on it as it was hanging off Rebecca Tay’s (Western Editor of Fashion Magazine) neck and I had a bee in my bonnet for it ever since.
I was able to find one at Nouvelle Nouvelle so I am a happy camper today. It makes a statement without being too overbearing. Made of subtle leather and gold metal chain links, it comes in grey, navy and black for $44 CDN.
I’ll be wearing it proud!

I have no idea how I ran into the Omelle website (pronounced ahm’elle), but I am sure glad that I discovered them.
Omelle is the brain child of two shoe obsessed ladies who graduated from LA’s prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Chreise Angelle and Nicole LaFave. Together they have created this luxury footwear line that has a distinctive and imaginative voice.
I saved my pretty pennies for this pair of shoes. Please join me in welcoming ‘Drew’, the new addition to my footwear family. Finished by hand, it’s made with a baby smooth calf leather with a distinctive cylinder wood stacked heel. Because of the fine craftsmanship of the shoes, they feel like butter on my feet.
