Luxury online shopping site, SSENSE has introduce a very cool new way of interacting with their site. It definitely comes with some cliches as it took a few tries before the video was playing smoothly and I had some freezing issues when clicking on the screen. (Although maybe I just have a very slow computer). The interactive shoppable music video features FKi, a newly-signed Interscope rapper Iggy Azalea and Grammy-nominated Diplo. The music video premiere of ‘I Think She Ready’ was styled entirely by SSENSE, where you can shop Iggy’s, FKi’s and Diplo’s looks by using the interactive hotspot technology from wireWAX.
Enjoy the video and anytime you see the “S” hovering over the outfit, click on it and a new window pops up showing the outfit you can buy, right … more …
I love window shopping during the holidays because all the department stores go all out, trying to be the most creative and captivating as possible. During my most recent trip to New York I had to go visit the Saks Fifth Avenue window displays as I heard they were integrating 3D technology to their holiday plans. Saks Fifth’s flagship location decided to go with a “Snowflake and Bubble” theme and on display was commissioned designers that included Stella McCartney, Proenza Schouler, Nica Ricci, Rag and Bone, Marchesa and Alexander McQueen.

You can not forget about the children (and we all have a little kid inside each and everyone of us). The most adorable thing is the feature on the children’s book, “Who Makes Snow?” and the funny looking Yeti plush toy. … more …

I’d have to admit, I was not a fan of the recent Versace collaboration for H&M as I found the collection cheaply made for the price. I have recently returned from an east coast stint and I probably visited 5 to 6 H&M locations, all with an abundance of left over Versace pieces.
I am however truly excited for the next collaboration, H&M is proud to announce a spring designer collaboration with the Italian brand Marni. Founder and creative director, Consuelo Castiglioni, has created a spring collection for H&M for both women and men that captures the essence of Marni. Available from March 8, 2012 (during my birthday week, yay) in over 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features both clothing and accessories. I can’t wait to see what wonderful original … more …
Who doesn’t love cashmere? Cozy, warm, reminds me of the fall and sitting in front of a fire place. TOMS shoes has stepped it up a notch and collaborated with The Row on a small collection of cashmere and Italian wool slippers selling in three colorways for $140 - $150 each. Yikes, pricey but if you’re a hardcore TOMS fan, I am sure this will tickle your toes.

I’m not quite sure how to wear them, in-door, out-door? You wouldn’t want to get them wet. Best bet is to wear them in-doors while reading magazines on your silk bedspread and perhaps eating caviar.
