Crisp, clean and simple is how I would describe Parliament, the newest addition to Gastown’s furniture store club. Brought to you by three ex-Liberty staff members, they have done a swell job in finding modern looks at reasonable prices.
It’s one of my sweet spots, finding product that looks more expensive than it costs. They offer everything from sofas, dining sets, office chairs, wine stoppers, candlestick holders and pillows.
My favourite find, little white porcelain pear and apple decorations for only $6 CDN each!

With existing stores in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Montreal - Murale finally opens it’s doors in Vancouver. Located in the Oakridge Center Mall, this sleek, single-leveled cosmetic boutique will give Sephora perhaps, a run for their money.

If the color is spot on, the fit is easy and the fabric is silk, consider the item sold. The BDG silk hi-low hem tunic at Urban Outfitters is the all round perfect blouse for me.
Relaxed arm holes and a low cut neck gives the top some ease while the light weight fabric allows you to wear it loose or tucked in nicely into a high waisted pant. The cuffed square sleeves are a nice added touch.
