I once owned a pair of paisley palazzo pants when I was about 18 years old. I remember being really self conscious wearing these pants to school because they were not exactly the “standard” attire at the time. Now, paisley prints are in abundance on the runways and on the streets. Unlike the 90’s version, paisley prints now are bolder and brighter in color and more sophisticated and less psychedelic.
Emilio Pucci’s Spring 2012 runway collection was a swirl of gypsy-esque frocks.

Nothing screams summer more than the color white. Crisp white shorts and dresses, white linen bed sheets, white outdoor canopies…white white white. It can be sophisticated, slimming and lady like. Designers such as Thakoon, Alexander Wang, Chanel, Jill Sander, Phillip Lim and Derek Lam sent all white looks down the runway for NYFW.

I don’t typically like white shoes but my heart stopped when I saw these {Alexander Wang} Joan Heels.

Keep in mind, white would be difficult to keep clean. So be mindful with your cross body handbags against darker clothes. I love how this {Malene Birger} bag is contrasted.

I love Vancouver and I love it even better when the sun is out. This means spending more time out in the sun and becoming a tourist in my own city. But before I step out into the sun, there are just a few beauty things I need to have in check.
