Simone’s collection is a blend of metallic materials and animal prints…add some denim and ruffles to it too. I can not forget to mention the nautical stripes and corset lacing. I thought I was done with this look, but I guess I should never say never because I am in love once again. One sure fire piece you’ll need in your wardrobe this spring/summer 2010 is the military jacket.

You can go with a traditional boxy cut where the jacket is shaped more like a men’s dress shirt or be a bit more feminine with a waisted drawstring. Long or short, make sure you have some deep pockets and a hood would be even more fantastic.

If you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, the Gap as a great version for around $80. Sorry to say, you’re going to have to  surrender yourself to the look. 10-4.

I do most of my shopping on-line as well has off people’s bodies. I will literally chase you down the street if I spot something on you that I want. In this case, I facebooked my next victim.

As I was going through a friend’s wedding pictures in NYC, I came across a girlfriend of her’s looking gorgeous in a wicked black jumper. I got the details right away and made my way to her on-line store, soni & cindy.

Seems like one-shoulder silhouettes are here to stay for Spring/Summer 2010. We’ve been seeing them all over evening gowns and they are also being translated into day wear.

This one-shoulder lady-like top from Anthropologie, reminds me of an intricate Japanese kimono. Spattered with a dotty foliage print, it’s cinched nicely at the waist with a bespoke over-sized bow.
